The NSW Police FORCE has continually targeted the general public with unfair, intrusive and humiliating drug prohibition “tools”
In episode 7, Law & Disorder, we look at some of the unfair laws that have been used to victimise vulnerable groups and upset so many lives. With 29 young Nimbin men dealt heavy sentences from a massive “drug” operation that terrorised the whole township, we look at the effectiveness of the laws and the sometimes aggressive ways they’re implemented.
Plus we find that dirty word, "addiction" isn't everything we thought it was.
Including interviews with David Shoebridge (NSW Greens MP), Teresa Biscoe (Nimbin Chamber of Commerce), Michael Baulderstone, Dolph Cooke and many Nimbin locals.
We also hear from Dr Bruce Alexander with music from Australian Crawl, The Cruel Sea, Busby Marou, Baha Men, Madness, The Cars, David Bowie and Aretha Franklin.
